Add the ability to import trades from different brokers

This would allow the creation of other reports in excel if not already in the system..

I.e. * graph of portfolio balance
* report of max draw down
etc

When entering new security codes, if the program could automatically lookup the full security name that would be great.

a direct link with the broker that will allow you to get your trades...

I have slightly different entry, exit, target, and stop loss criteria based on the strategy I'm trading. I trade different strategies based on market conditions. I'd like to be able to define my rules by strategy.

Have a daily jounal available to type notes: stocks you analyzed, overall feelings about the market, etc.

For traders who have accounts in different currencies add the ability to calculate profit and loss in the home currency.

We are currently working with a live data provider to ad the ability to update prices with streaming real-time data.

As it is live data their is a cost involved and it looks to be around ~29USD per month.

At this stage the data source is only for US markets.

You may want to buy/sell as a certain resistance line is broken at a certain price. The watch list alarm would alert you to such an event.

Right now, if I wrongly close a trade or enter incorrect trade, it is not easy to correct, since close position are tracked seperately than new trades. If a report containing all the trades for a particular day can be found, it will be easy to correct. Sometimes, I enter the trades at the end of day or couple of days later, and it is not easy to match those.

Net net, if I have to match the trades entered in Otrader with my broker statement, it is not easy.

It would be great to be able to show an equity curve on a daily basis.

This would make it a little easier to accurately track the portfolios performance

At the moment it seams as thought Yahoo or OTrader are caching data so even after you update OTrader is not updated with the current 15min delayed price.

Right now, the system defaults to a month. It may help if we can define that default day on which the Option/Future expires. For example, in India expiry is on last Thursday of the month and most of the trades happen here.

This can already be done for individual reports per trading system, but it does not seem possible to get an overall review of how all your systems are performing
